Peabody Coal Mine, Commissioned Work from 1957
I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from this artist after I came across a very interesting print of his. It is of the Peabody Coal Mine, now defunct but once the largest in the world.
It’s a great print and Ron tells me it was part of his first commissioned work as an art student. It was done back in 1957. This is not an original and it does have slight water stains at the bottom of the frame but the print itself is in great shape.
