I am still researching this artist so I don’t have a price for this
item yet. From what I can find online, Giclee prints of this John Pitre’
Marauders of the Sea painting are going for around 1,500 to 1,800 but
so far, I have not found any pricing guidance at all about this near-vintage
version.
Because this litho was produced over 25 years ago, it does not have
the same color tinting as the Giclee prints I can find online. I don’t know
if this is because the color has faded over time or if it was just the best
quality litho could be, back in 1975.
For John Pitre’ collectors, this Marauders of the Sea Litho
may be a true treasure.
I’ll continue my research and hope to post a price for this item soon. If you

The litho is behind glass, in a fairly inexpensive-looking frame but I’m not a
frame collector so I don’t know it’s age or value. The painting has no tears,
cuts, creases, waterstains or other damage that I can see with the naked eye.
It is hand-signed by John Pitre’ in addition to, of course, having his signature
where it was originally signed as a painting.
